827933 PW I KOM (KS) Mohd Osis bin Hj Onan was born on 22 January 1983 at 94 Army Hospital, Terendak Camp, Melaka. He joined the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) on 28 May 2001 and was absorbed into the Seaman Branch specialized in Radio Communications (KMR). He is married to Puan Siti Hajariah binti Buyati and blessed with 3 children (2 sons and 1 daughter).
Throughout his service, he had been stationed at various RMN bases and ships including KD PELANDOK, RMN Communication Station Lumut, Naval Area 2 Headquarters, RMN Submarine Force Headquarters, RMN Submarine Training Centre, MV FAJAR SAMUDERA, KD MAHAWANGSA and KD TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN.
His career as a Submariner began in 2011 when he was selected to undergo the Submarine Qualification Course at the Submarine Training Centre, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. He also underwent Operation Division Training in Toulon, France in 2012. He completed his on job training at KD TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN and KD TUN RAZAK in the same year and was awarded the RMN Submarine Specialization Insignia (Dolphin).
Throughout his tenure as the Vice President (Navy) of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) Senior Rate Mess, he has played an important role and effort to strengthen the integrity and support for the aspect of togetherness or jointness among the Other Ranks from the Tri-Services which is the Army, Navy and Airforce.

MCPO I COMM Mohd Fairoz bin Nordin born on 26 August 1984 at 94 Armed Forces Hospital, Terendak Camp, Melaka. He joined the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) on 22 January 2003 and underwent basic recruit at the Tanjung Pengelih Recruit Training Center, Johor Bahru in recruitment 191/03 and was absorbed into the sailor branch in Tactical Comunication (KMT) expertise. He has established a household with Mrs. Nor Soleha binti Nor Azaman and is blessed with 4 sons.
Throughout his service, he has been employed in various units either at the base or on RMN ships, among which is KD PANAH, RMN Communication Station Kuantan, KD JEBAT, KD PANGLIMA HITAM, KD PENDEKAR, Naval Area 1 Headquarters, Headquarters RMN – HRD, KD LEKIU dan Western Fleet Command Headquarters.
He has extensive experience and knowledge in his field of duties as a Tactical Communications officer in the RMN Warships. Among his experiences is being involved in various operations and traning while serving on the ship among others KAKADU exercise, MILAN exercise, OSTEX exercise, TAMING SARI exercise, BERSAMA GOLD exercise, BERSAMA SHIELD exercise, MALAPURA exercise, ARNEX exercise, Sea Ex THAMAL, Asian Tour, Ops PATKOR MALINDO, Ops NAGA BARAT ZMM Selatan dan Utara, Ops Kukuh Warisan, Ops Jarak dan Ops Benteng Khas. He was also the first crew of MV BUNGA MAS LIMA to be involved in the assignment of Ops Fajar 5 and 18 in 2010 and 2015 and receive a certificate of appreciation from the Chief of Navy for the operation and had served abroad in a peacekeeper in Lebanon in 2013. He also successfully passed the Static Parachutists course at the Special Warfare Training Center (SWTC), Sungai Udang, Melaka in 2010.
He also has an excellent work record throughout his service in RMN. The existing excellence has been proven through the receipt of Outstanding Service Awards for the years 2012, 2018, 2020 and 2022. WO I SWF (GI)Shahairul Nizad bin Sahlin was born on 18 Sept 1981 at No 65 Lorong Fasa 1, Taman Seri Wang, 02600 Arau, Perlis. He received his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Tengku Budriah Arau Perlis. He then continued his studies at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Arau Perlis until Form 5. He married Puan Noor Bazura binti Yakkob on 4 June 2005 and still not endowed with children.
Interest in uniforms and a deep desire since school as well as making his father a former SMR Semboyan as an examplein his career, he applied to join the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) in early 2000 through (Recruitment 185/01) by sitting for an interview recruitment organized by TLDM in Kangar Perlis. His ambitions came true when he was accepted to serveon 31 July 2000. After completing basic military training at PULAREK Tg. Pengelih Johor, he has been accepted into the PPP Expertise Branch(PAP).
With the trust given by the highest level of TLDM, he is interested in continuing his service up to 26 years. In the Service, he has been stationed in several TLDM ships units such as KD MAHAWANGSA, KD BELADAU AND KAPAL AUKSILIARI TUN AZIZAN as a Weapons Senior Noncommissioned Officer at Pusat Operasi Armada Wilayah Laut 2. In addition, he has also been stationed in several base units such as KD MALAYA, MPPL, Protela Lumut, Protela Sandakan, MPA Timur (N1) next on 15 July 2022 he was appointed as the Pegawai Waran Markas (PWM) of the Eastern Fleet Command Headquarters.
Throughout his career, he was also involved in several real operations such as Ops Daulat in Sabah waters. He is also involved in several exercises with Foreign Countries such as the Philippine Ship around the country's waters. He performs his duties and responsibilities with excellence and has extensive knowledge in the field of Sailors and TLDM, it allows him to master his field of work and beable to train and become a Professional Coach at KD SRI SANDAKAN and can guide & lead subordinates with his own skills and expertise.
The contribution and devotional service he gave is very noble and deserves to be looked up to. He is a person who likes to care about the welfare and gives thoroughness to the members under his auspices in accordance with his jurisdiction as a Warrant Officer. WO I RGR Mohd Iskandar Mirza bin Ishak was born in Kluang General Hospital, Johor on 6 Nov 1984 and is the eighth child of twelve siblings. Started joining the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) on 20 July 2005 and underwent basic recruit training at KD SULTAN Ismail TLDM Young Soldiers Training Center. Is an intake of 196 and has been absorbed into the seafarer branch in the Regulating Rating (RGR) specialty. Throughout his service he was stationed on several ships and bases. Among the ships he has served are KD PARI, KD SRI TIGA. Meanwhile, the services at TLDM bases are KD SRI SANDAKAN, KD SRI MEDINI, Special Investigation Branch (CPM ATM Johor bahru), Protela Lumut, Marine Region 2 Headquarters and now at Marine Region 2 Headquarters as HEADQUARTERS WARRANT OFFICER.
On 4 Feb 2022, he was appointed as a Headquarters Warrant Officer at the Marine Region 2 Sandakan Sabah Headquarters and as a recognition in service, also involved in charity and social work with members and the surrounding community. He easily interacts with members and officers as well as all levels of the local community and performs religious activities and is active in the field of sports. During his service, he was indirectly involved in various exercises with warships from foreign countries such as the Philippines. Throughout his naval service, he had served at several units in RMN such as UPS TLDM Lumut, FMD Lumut, ex KD Rentaka, RMN Stn Sierra, KD Malaya (as an attachement for preparation to sumbarine course), RMNHQ HR Developement (attachment submarine course), Submarine Force HQ (Combat System Staff) and Submarine Training Centre (Acoustic Sonar Trainer).

829793 PW I TLR (JP) Mohd Yusri bin Mohammad Atan is a member of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) who has served with dedication in the RMN service. Born on 24 May 1984 in Kg Sg. Itek, Gopeng, Perak. He received his early education at SK Gopeng and continued his education at SMK Seri Teja, Gopeng, and SMK Gunung Rapat, Ipoh. He married with Puan Wan Farhana binti Amran and was blessed with six children, one girl and five boys.
His career in the RMN began on 27 June 2002 as intake 190/02, where he was absorbed into the Technical Branch with expertise as an Electronic Technician Radio (ETR). Throughout his service, he was stationed in several units at RMN bases and ships such as KD PELANDOK, KTD SOTONG, KD HANG TUAH, KD RAJAWALI, Squadron 502, and RMN Air Headquarters. In 2005, his career as an Aircraft Technician began when he was selected to undergo the basic Aircraft Technician course at KD RAJAWALI. Upon completion of the course in 2006, he was absorbed into Squadron 502 as an Aircraft Technician operating the AS 555 SN Fennec aircraft, a Training and Operations Squadron.
His efficiency and ability in educating subordinates as well as his high leadership attitude allowed him to be appointed as an aircraft technician trainer at Squadron 502, Avionics specialty from 2019 to 2021. During this period, he successfully produced many highly skilled aircraft technicians. In 2021, he passed the Aircraft Charge Certificate Status interview allowing him to lead a detachment team for aircraft operations on RMN ships. Subsequently, from 2022 to 2024, he was appointed as a Senior Maintenance Rating (SMR) in Squadron 502, acting as the Squadron's Chief Aircraft Technician. In this role, he ensured that aircraft maintenance and operations ran smoothly and effectively.
He has participated in various operations and training with TLDM ships as well as ships from foreign countries. This proves his seriousness and commitment to national security. He was involved in operations such as EX-Kerismas, EX-BERSAMA LIMA, EX-Taming Sari, OSTEX, as well as major operations such as Op Fajar 8 and Op Fajar 22. These operations are important examples of international military cooperation to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of the TLDM in protecting the country's waters.
While with Op Fajar 8, he was involved in one of the most historic incidents, namely the hijacking of the MV Bunga Laurel in the Gulf of Aden, Somalia, in 2011. In this operation, he and his crewmates successfully captured the pirates involved, demonstrating their courage and competence in dealing with dangerous maritime threats.
His outstanding contribution and service to the service and the country has received due recognition. In 2011, he was awarded the Armed Forces Ensign (BAT) Medal at Istana Negara, in appreciation of his services and dedication. His success did not stop there, in fact he continued to show excellent work performance throughout his service. This was proven through the receipt of the Excellent Service Award (APC) for the years 2007, 2014, 2018, and 2022.
With a high level of dedication, knowledge and extensive experience, he has been entrusted by the top management of the RMN to be appointed as the Headquarters Warrant Officer (PWM) for the 5th RMN Air Headquarters on 9 December 2024. This appointment is proof of confidence in his ability and capability to lead and handle larger and more challenging tasks.
WO I CD Azman Nizam bin Abdullah was born on 11 April 1982, in Ranau, Sabah. Is the 3rd child of 6 siblings. Received his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Togop Darat. Continuing secondary schooling at Lohan Ranau Secondary School, Sabah. Has established a household with Puan Nurul Wahidah binti Hamzah and is blessed with four bright eyes.
Warrant Officer Entered the service of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) on 28 May 01 and will complete 26 years of service on 27 May 27. He is an Intek Recruitment 187/01 and underwent recruit training at the KD SULTAN ISMAIL Training Center, Johor. Subsequently he was absorbed into the Sailors Branch in the specialty of Mine Divers. During his 20 years of service, he has been assigned to TLDM ships and bases such as KD LEDANG, KD MAHAMIRU, Pusat Selam, MAWILLA 1, RMN SSC, KD DUYONG, MPPL TLDM and Mk SPPA.
Before the Warrant Officer was appointed as PWM Mk SPPA, he went through the selection board interview process led by YBhg First Admiral Abdullah Sani bin Ismail, Commander of Diving and Mine Warfare (Mk SPPA) on 6 August 21. After going through the selection and evaluation process, YBhg The Commander agreed and nominated PW I PLM Azman Nizam bin Abdullah to YBhg Deputy Commander of the Navy for Approval. YBhg Deputy Commander of the Navy has approved the Warrant Officer as the Warrant Officer of Mk SPPA Headquarters. The official PWM appointment ceremony by YBhg Panglima was held on 24 Sep 21. The appointment of the second Diving Headquarters and Mine Warfare Warrant Officer since this position was introduced in 2015.
Throughout his tenure, he has attended various professional and military courses among them, the Teaching Techniques Course. Quality Control Course, Analysis and Design Course, Explosive Ordance Disposal (EOD) Course, Internal Quality Auditor Course, Identity and Team Building Course, Air Operations Course, Level 1 Sports Science Course and AFC ‘C’ Coaching Certificate Football Course. He is also active in football and has represented TLDM up to the ATM level and is now a TLDM football coach and has been awarded the TLDM Sports Excellence Award.
WO I RP (H)(I) Fairull Salehen bin Ja’afar was born on 26 March 1983 in Kg Sri Lukut Kahang Bt 28 Kluang Johor. He received his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Felda Tenggaroh 02 Mersing Johor. He then continued his studies at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tenggaroh A until Form 5. He married Puan Norhidayati binti Othaman on 22 December 2006 and was blessed with 4 children, 2 daughters and 2 sons.
Armed with a deep interest and desire since school, he applied to join the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) in early 2000 (Recruitment 187/01) by sitting for a recruitment interview organized by the RMN in Kluang Johor. He was born on 12 May 1987 in Kg Kelisar, Batu Gajah, Tanah Merah Kelantan Darul Naim. He is the 2nd child of 4 siblings. He received his early education at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Lawang, then at the secondary school level, the Warrant Officer graduated from Tanah Merah Technical Secondary School in the field of Civil Engineering. The Warrant Officer began his service in the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) on 20 July 2005 and underwent Basic Training for Young Soldiers at the KD Sultan Ismail Tanjung Pengelih Training Center, Johor for the 196th intake successfully and was subsequently absorbed into the Marine Technology Diploma Apprentice scheme for the Electrical and Weapons Technician specialty.
The Warrant Officer has established a household with Puan Norayu binti Mat Ali. The result of his life partnership has been blessed with 3 children. During his 19 years of service as a member of the RMN, the Warrant Officer has been deployed in several operational divisions, including KD HANG TUAH, RMN STATION SIERRA, DEPOT SENGGARA ARMADA TIMUR, KD LAKSAMANA MUHAMMAD AMIN, MARKAS PERMERINTAHAAN KESIAGAAN TLDM, KD LAKSAMANA MUHAMMAD AMIN and DEPOT SENGGARA ARAMADA BARAT. The various bitter and sweet histories that he has recorded and endured throughout his service period have made him more experienced and confident. Before he was appointed as PWM HQ WNL, he went through the selection board interview process chaired by First Admiral Ts Shaiful Bahri bin Baharudin, Commander Western Naval Logistic (COMWNL) on 30 August 2024. After going through the selection and assessment process, the top management of the RMN has agreed to appoint PW I TLS Tc. Nor Asrul bin Azmi as the new HQ WNL Headquarters Warrant Officer. The PWM appointment ceremony was officially completed by COMWNL on 24 December 2024. This PWM HQ WNL appointment is the third since this position was introduced in 2015.
Career and expertise courses that he has attended to improve his professionalism and strengthen his skills and knowledge include the Wartsila Deutz Engine BF 6L 913C course, Freshwater Generator Equipment Operation/Maintenance Course, Ship Power Quality Management Course, Kamewa FF 410 Waterjet System Operation and Maintenance Course, 1 & 3 Phase Motor Rewinding Course, Switchboard Course, Malaysian Skills Certification Accreditation Induction Course (PP-PPT, PPL, PP-PPD-PPB), EKSA Auditor Course, Internal course for safety and health - working at height and confined space. Not only that, he has been sponsored by the Public Service Department (JPA) to follow the K-Force study program at the Bachelor of Management level conducted by UNITAR. Deeply interested in the expertise he holds, he has followed the Vocational Trainer Operation (VTO) accreditation program run by the Malaysian Skills Development Department and subsequently he has received Technician Certified recognition by the Malaysia Board Of Technologists in 2022.
The warrant officer is also active in sailing sports, the highest level he has ever participated in is at the national level and has received a Gold Badge certificate of honor from the Armed Forces Sports Council in 2023. In addition, he is a person who is capable of motivating and mentoring subordinates and is able to mediate between management and subordinates. This ability is not only used in service but also utilized for social activities with the local community. He has also been trusted to hold several positions other than his actual duties, namely as Deputy Head of the RKTLDM Block and a Member of the School Parents Association Committee.
Throughout his service, he has shown a high level of dedication and hard work and worked hard to advance in his military career. As a result of the determination and dedication that has been displayed during his 19 years of service, he has been awarded the Excellent Service Award 3 times, namely in 2012, 2016 and 2022 and the Best Non-commissioned Officer Candidate of the RMN in 2023. In addition, to commemorate the services and sacrifices he has made to the RMN, which he should be proud of, he was also awarded the National Sovereignty Medal on 27 April 2023.
He was the first Warrant Officer appointed as Command Warrant Officer (CWO) of Eastern Naval Logistic Head Quarters. He was born in Melaka and joined Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) on March 2000 after finished his schooling in Sekolah Menengah Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Batu Arang, Selangor. His batch was the first batch who had completing the training at Royal Malaysian Navy Recruitment Training Center (PULAREK) Tanjung Pengelih, Johor.
He has been served in KD HANG TUAH, KD SRI TAWAU, KD SULTAN ISMAIL, PUSAT KEPIMPINAN TLDM, DEPOT BEKALAN ARMADA, KD SRI INDERASAKTI, KD SRI SANDAKAN, KAPAL AUXILLARI TUN AZIZAN (KA TAZ), HEAD QUARTERS OF EASTERN NAVAL LOGISTIC AND HEAD QUARTERS OF EASTERN FLEET. His precious experience was to fulfil the limited operational requirements to the base as well as vessels operating in two major types of operations involving national security. That was OP PASIR and OP DAULAT BENUA which is still happening today. Other than that, during serve in KA TAZ he involved in operations involving interventions with common interests such as the Malaysian Army, the Royal Malaysian Air Force and outside parties such as the Royal Malaysian Police, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the Malaysian Immigration Department and International Shipping Corporation Berhad (MISC Berhad).
He has service experience in various positions including instructor at RMN Leadership Center, President for The Junior Rate Club at Western Fleet Supply Depot, Member of the RMN Education and Training Headquarters (MPPL) in Process Team for Headquarters Quality Award, Innovative and Creative Team Group Member at KA TAZ and several other posts. In addition, he was also involved in the preparation of the initial paperwork for the renovation of the KD SRI TAWAU Naval Base back in 2003.
During his service, he also attended several courses. Among the courses attended are Training Systems (Teaching Techniques, Analysis and Design, Quality Control), Quality Management (ISO 9001: 2008), Building English Skills, Crane Operator Course, Developing Dynamic Web Application, EKSA Facilitator, Flight Deck Officer (FDO), Lotus Freelance Basic Course, V3 Inventory Management Course, Record Management, Teaching Techniques (Advanced Trainers), Islamic Law Enforcement Courses and Seminars organized by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
In addition, he also regularly added his individual skills and has several additional skills courses that he has learned. Among these skills courses are:
1. Microsoft Server 2003 University of Technology Skills Certificate and Window XP Professional.
2. Malaysian Vocational Training Council, Malaysian Skills Certificate Assistant Level 1 Logistics Technician.
3. Ministry Of Human Resources Skills Development Department, Malaysian Skills Certificate Logistics Assistant Technician level 2.
4. Ministry Of Human Resources Skills Development Department, Malaysian Skills Certificate Supervisor of Administrative Information System Level 3.
5. Ministry Of Human Resources Skills Development Department, Malaysian Skills Certificate Security Supervisor Level 3.
6. National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) Certificate in Digital Image.
He was recipient RMN Education and Training Headquarters (MPPL) for The MPPL Sailor of The Year Award 2007. Then been represents MPPL as a finalist in the RMN 2008 Sailor of The Year Award. His highest achievement was when he was assigned to represent The Royal Malaysian Navy and attend the Sea Power Conference 2019 and later attend the Westerns Pacific Naval Symposium Senior Enlisted Leaders Working Group 2019 (WPNS SELWG) which is a Warrant Officer (WO) seminar involving 24 countries organized by the Royal Navy of Australia (RNA) at Sydney, Australia.
He was married to Mrs. Noribah binti Harun and blessed by two girls and a son. He is passionate about traveling with his family and enjoying the beauty of nature. Enjoys outdoor activities with family and neighbors friends to strengthening the bond of friendship and being The Way of NAVY’s Life.
WO I UWC (I) Md Saidi bin Sidek entered the service of the Royal Malaysian Navy on 30 March 2000 at the TLDM Tanjung Pengelih Recruit Training Center, Pengerang Johor now known as KD Sultan Ismail TLDM Young Soldiers Training Center. Is a recruitment of 184 and has been absorbed into the branch of Seafarers specializing in Warfare Under the Surface Control (PBK), has served 21 years in service and will end his service on March 29, 2026 (26 Years). The Warrant Officer was born in Kampung Durian Chondong Bukit Kepong Muar Johor and is married to Puan Norolhuda binti Soap, now living in Block B5 unit 102 RKTLDM and has been blessed with 4 bright boys.
Warrant Officers have gained various experiences and worked in units such as KD LAKSAMANA TAN PUSMAH, KD LAKSAMANA HANG NADIM, BOSUN MARKAS ARMADA, BOT TUNDA SATU, KD LEKIU, RIGGERS WORKSHOP DEPOT SENGGARA ARMADA, School of Marine Studies, MARKAS KESIAGAAN TLDM, Inspection and Evaluation Division (N10) WEST FLEET GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS and KD PELANDOK School of Under -Surface Warfare Studies.
Throughout his service, he showed great interest and desire to continue to serve the RMN in particular and the ATM in general. The Warrant Officer has been directly involved in creating an e-Learning system related to Ship Husbandry which was uploaded in e-MPAB on the 85th TLDM Day. The Warrant Officer has been involved with more than 20 audits and experienced as an instructor for 8 years and attended various exercises. both locally and abroad make him recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Marine Science based on his knowledge and experience. The Waren Officer was entrusted to follow the OHSAS 18001: 2007 Internal Auditor course and was previously assigned as an Employee Health and Safety Officer while serving at the Fleet Maintenance Depot. He also held the position of Administrative Warrant Officer of the School of Under -Surface War Studies at KD PELANDOK.
Good military knowledge in line with rank as well as a person who is dedicated in giving the best to his service has been entrusted to hold the position as Headquarters Warrant Officer was appointed and appointed as the 3rd Lumut Base Headquarters Warrant Officer on 9 Feb 2021.
WO 1 RGR Irwan Fairoz bin Mat Ariff was born on Sept 08, 1979, at Ipoh General Hospital and raised in Felda Gunung Besout 5, Sungkai Perak. Married with Mrs Hayati binti Jamal and endowed with five sons. Started to join Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) on Oct 27, 1999, at RMN Lumut Base Recruitment Training Center and was applied into Regulating Rating branch (RGR).
Throughout the service, he has served at numbers of ships and base unit starting by KD Sri Tawau and followed by PROTELA Labuan, PROTELA Kota Kinabalu, CPK Selangor, KD Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, SKTLDM Lumut, Fleet Supply Depot, KD Selangor, Headquarters Operational And Readiness and Headquarters Western Fleet.
Besides, he also successfully passed other career courses such as Facilitator and Self-Course Course, Training of Trainers (TOT) Course, Drug Loss Procedure Course, Training of Trainers (TOT) National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), Military Courses Handling Course, Anti Narcotics Course, Basic CPM Investigation Course, Citizens Litigation and Escort Course, The Foundation Of Security Course, Internal Investigation Course and Security Management Course.
As a mark of appreciation for his excellent service, RMN awarded him with Excellent Service Award (APC) in 2007 at Unit Protela Kota Kinabalu, Quality Leading Awards and Excellent Service Awards at KD Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Headquarters Operational And Readiness and Quality Awards at FLEET SUPPLY DEPOT.
He is a positive person in a work that has been entrusted with leadership qualities and discipline, which has become a sub and has shown a dedication and commitment in carrying out his duties. He also held as the First Warrant Officer (WO) for the first RMN Headquarter Readiness on Dec 17, 2018, since it up until Dec 13 2019. WO 1 RGR Irwan Fairoz bin Mat Ariff was appointed as the fourth Warrant Officer (WO) for the National Hydrographic Center on Jun 18, 2020.
